Sundays

Getting to gather as a family is a highlight of being church. We gather on Sunday mornings to seek God together, to sing praises to Him, to hear the bible preached and applied to daily life, to encourage one another and to pray together. You are more than welcome to come and join us!

Where we meet

West Minster Primary School, Sheerness, ME12 1ET

What time is the gathering?

We meet at 10.45am every Sunday. We have refreshments available and then begin our worship at 11am. If you wish to join us for a time of morning prayer come along for 10.20am.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of road side parking.

What is a gathering like?

Our gatherings have a relaxed feel and are a moment to wonder at and anchor in the Good News of Jesus. They normally last for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We begin our times together by singing 3-4 praise songs. After our time of praise we have a sermon preached from a passage in the bible that will help us to understand the scripture and apply it to our daily life. We often have moments throughout the morning to pray and on certain Sundays we share communion together.

The last Sunday of every month we have a shorter gathering followed by a community lunch. These give us an extended time to enjoy the gift of being family together. These have a bring and share feel to them, but there is no expectation that you must bring anything - all are welcome to pitch up and enjoy.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years or are just exploring what faith might mean for you, our heart is that you would leave feeling full of wonder and hope of the Good News of Jesus

What about kids?

Kids are very welcome! We do not have any kid specific groups during the morning; our kids join us in our time of worship, have their own kids' sermon and have an activity to do with a parent/carer whilst the sermon is preached.

Do I need to sing/talk/etc?

You are our guest and we want you to feel comfortable! There is no pressure for your involvement to look a certain way - if you wish to sit quietly and reflect as people sing, you are very welcome to do so.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for our gatherings. Most people wear casual clothes, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
